ThoroughCare provides helpful filtering options to sort and find your patients, but we recognize that these filters might not be a one size fits all solution.  That's why we introduced Patient Flags! Patient Flags allow your team to easily identify and engage patients on CCM worklists using customizable flags. Continue through the following article to learn how an Admin can create and edit practice flags!

Accessing Patient Flags Page:

From the Dashboard, navigate to the "hamburger menu" on the left-hand side of the ThoroughCare Dashboard and click "Management".

NOTE: You will only see this option if you are a Customer Admin

Now, select "Patient Flags" menu option as shown below.

Once clicked, the "Patient Flags" page will appear.

Editing Patient Flags:

On the Patient Flags Page, a Customer Admin has the ability to edit pre-existing Flags to suit their needs. By clicking the "Edit" button for a particular Flag, a pop-up will appear with the current information for that particular Flag.

Note: Only Customer Admins can change a Flag

This pop-up allows admins to change the Flag's name and color. These Flags are completely customizable per site.

Note: If you use a flag across multiple TC sites the pop-up will let you know (shown in orange below).

When finished editing the flag, click save and the edited Flag will now be updated!

Note: If patients' are already assigned this flag, once saved, the pre-existing flag will be replaced with the new updated flag.

Creating New Patient Flags:

When creating a new Flag simply click "+ Add new Flag" in the upper right-hand corner of the "Patient Flags" page.

Note: Only Customer Admins can create new Flags

An "Add Flag" pop-up will appear which allows customer admins to choose a name for the new Flag along with a color. To choose a random color, click the "New Random Color" button highlighted below. (A user can continue to click this button until the target color is found).

Once a color is chosen for the new flag, make sure to click the "Save" button as shown in the screenshot below!

If created successfully, the new flag should be displayed somewhere within the "Patient Flags" table.
