Navigate to the Patient View Page:

Begin by typing in the patient's first name, last name, or EHR ID in ThoroughCare's patient search bar.

When the search page loads, select the patient name, EHR ID, or the "View" button located under the "Actions" column.

Once on the Patient View page navigate to the patient's "Devices" tab.

Add the Numbers to Track:

If the patient will be manually entering their daily RPM readings through ThoroughCare's "Patient Portal". In order to enable a particular reading for ThoroughCare to track, the care manager must first select the target measurement from the "Enabled Measurements" drop-down.

Scroll or begin typing, to select the correct reading that should be enabled. For this example we will be choosing "Body Weight" and "Blood Glucose".

Check to make sure the correct measurements have been added to the "Enabled Measurements" table. Also, check to make sure they are showing as "Manual Input" under the "Device" column. When the user is finished adding measurements click the "Portal" tab.

Enabling Portal Access:

By clicking this, the user will be taken to a small tab that has a single button labeled "Enable Portal Access". Click this button to send the patient an invitation to the patient portal.

Note: Before clicking the green "Enable Portal Access" button check to make sure the patient has provided an email in their "Contact Information". Without an email the patient cannot receive the email invitation to set-up their portal access.

Once portal access is enabled, notice that the previous button is now replaced with three small boxes/buttons. If the user would like to re-send the invitation to the patient's email simply click the "Re-send invitation" button. If the patient.user wishes to cancel portal access click the "Cancel" button.

Once the patient has logged in, the "Portal" tab will then show the "Last Login" and the "Number of logins" for the patient.
