ThoroughCare / Application Release Notes - December 16, 2024
New Features
AWV Enhancements*
Overhauled design focused on improvements to workflow, content, and visual layout.
Reduced and combined sections to increase efficiency and completion time.
Improved communication of data from the AWV to patient charts (and vice versa) to decrease documentation steps.
Finalized AWV Summary Reports are automatically uploaded to the Patient Document tab.
Improved the presentation and documentation of preventative measures.
Language updates to match current CMS usage and guidelines.
Screenings are now available to document for a patient either within the AWV or through the Clinical Data tab.
New workflow for clinicians to transfer Patient HRA answers to the Patient Chart clinical data tables.
The HRA will no longer display the ‘Preventative Services’ section and preventative measures can be documented within the AWV.
For clients who have AWVs currently in-progress:
Finalize any outstanding AWV’s before release.
Checkboxes in the Review Risk section will be reformatted and mapped to the updated checkbox options.
SDOH card added to Review Assessment for Risk section.
Upon release, there may be up to an hour wait per practice for data recalculations.
The Documents tab for patient charts needs to be enabled for practices in order to utilize the automatic upload of finalized AWVs and view historical information.
Preventative measures are no longer excluded based on patient sex.
‘Status’ field has been added when documenting Lab Results.

System Enhancements
Alternate Athena Departments*
Patients can exist in multiple departments within Athena, so we've expanded ThoroughCare's department functionality to enhance our integration.
Patients will still import based on their Athena enterprise ID, but ThoroughCare now provides the option to set an alternate department for claim and document uploads.
Deprecated ICD-10 Codes Prior to 2025
When ThoroughCare introduced the “Deprecated ICD-10 Code Workflow” in September, only the codes that were being deprecated in FY2025 were included. With this additional update, all codes that were removed in previous years are also marked as deprecated, and patients with those codes now have the flag.
Calendar Program Navigation within Same Browser Tab
The program buttons when documenting patient interactions in Calendar will no longer open a new browser tab when selected.
Analytics License Disclaimer When Adding to User
Clarifies license options and confirms selection when a license is added within the user setup modal.
