Ideas!

This is a new feature available as of 3/1/2023 to ThoroughCare Administrators to submit product ideas and engage with polling or future design sessions.

The Ideas! Website allows ThoroughCare Administrators to submit product ideas while providing a business need and attachments directly from within the application. By streamlining requests through administrator allows your organization to view your submitted requests and receive updates on them directly via email.

You will need to provide an email to utilize the website. The default is your ThoroughCare User profile and passed onto the Ideas! page upon login. If your user profile within ThoroughCare does not have an associated email. You will be prompted to enter your email information.

This information is utilized in two ways: 1) reporting your organizational submissions into a single report. 2) This is how you will receive the idea updates regarding those submissions through your provided email.

support@aha.io is the domain from which emails are generated for ideas submissions.

ideas@thoroughcare.net is the address that will be used as the "Reply-to" email address for emails sent from your portal.

Navigating Ideas Site

You can find the informational drop-down list in the upper right-hand corner of your screen next to your name. This icon appears as:

By clicking on the icon, you will see the drop-down list which will include the “Submit an Idea” link.

The Ideas Portal allows your organization to:

1) search all ideas to see if your request was already submitted.

2) You can view and sort on trending ideas, popular ideas, or filter on ideas statuses.

3) you can submit your new idea.

4) You can vote on an idea to bump its priority in the ideas board.

You can Sort by Recent, Trending and Popular.

You can filter ideas by their Status: Already Exists, Will not implement, and planned.

Submitting an Idea

When you click on “Add a new idea”, the following screen will appear. There are a few required elements and others which are optional.

To submit an idea, you should have a good summary of your idea and details of your request. If you are asking for functional needs in the product, please ensure to add the business need that supports that idea.

· Idea Summary- short description of the issue

· Contact Info: asks for more than email, but phone in case the team needs more information that they may contact you in your preferred form

· Submit Date: Today’s date

· Description: Long description of your request/idea

· Category: Helps to organize ideas

· Business Need: how impactful this is to your organization and how you can emphasize the idea for priority valuation.

· Supporting Documentation: Attachments are always welcome if you have a mock-up or showing the issue. NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE SHOTS WITH PHI

· Org/Practice: for reporting purposes only

Messages

One of the wonderful aspects of our ideas portal is that it will notify idea creators and subscribers on the change the status of an idea. There are also messages for any added comments on an issue, and anyone invested in the idea will see each update.

Then, the user will be notified as the idea progresses through your idea statuses. Similarly, if a portal user votes or comments on an existing idea, they will become subscribers and be notified of changes to the idea.

Note: Ideas portal users can one-click unsubscribe to portal email notifications if they do not want to receive notifications.

Idea Submission Email Confirmation

When a portal user creates an idea, they will receive an email acknowledgment thanking them for their submission.

Changed Idea Status Email

Idea Submitter and Subscribers will be notified as the idea progresses through the idea statuses.

Polls

In the future, The ThoroughCare Product team may implement short polls. You can receive an email invite to contribute to a poll based on being the submitter or subscriber for any given idea. A Sample poll has been supplied to ask a single question to try out the functionality which will be available for 6 months.

1. How does this change our process for submitting product enhancements?

· All open ideas on a client basis will be tracked only in the ideas portal

· Reports can be provided through your success manager upon request

2. Can I see my organizations’ submitted ideas?

· You can log into the ideas portal and just under the “add an idea” button you can filter on “My ideas”

3. Why can’t I add a priority to my organization to my idea?

· Product ideas are evaluated weekly and valued against a set of criteria to assign an internal product value score which we use to prioritize all client requests and managed against Throughcare’s strategic and product goals.

4. Will my success manager see my submitted ideas?

· Success Managers today do not get a copy of your emails or submissions today.

5. Can I turn off the email notifications?

· As a user, you can unsubscribe from ideas or unselect the emails option.

6. What recourse do I have if a product idea was rejected?

· You may contact your success manager to discuss your organizational impact of rejected ideas or discuss further for consideration.

7. What if I need to have a product function changed by a given timeframe?

· You can contact your success manager to discuss initiating a priority enhancement process.
