Transferring Patients Within Customer Groups

How to Easily Transfer Patients Between Customer Groups

ThoroughCare allows Customer Admin users to transfer patients within customer groups from site-to-site. If you are not a Customer Admin and need that access, have a current Admin at your practice contact ThoroughCare to give you Customer Admin permissions for your practice.

Travel to the Patient View Page:

Navigate to the patient view page for the target patient that should have their practice changed. In the upper right hand corner of their patient view page click the "Change Practice" button as modeled below.

After clicking the Change Practice button, a popup box will appear with a drop-down list of your practices. Click within the "Change Practice" dropdown to view the practice options.

Next, select the practice where the patient should be transferred to.

Once the target practice is chosen, click the "Move" button to confirm the patient transfer.

If the patient is successfully transferred a green confirmation message should appear in the upper right hand corner of the screen as shown below.
