Beginning the Patient's Office Tests:

Once on the patient's AWV exam page, navigate to the next exam section by clicking the empty circle located above the "Office Tests" section, or the green "Start the Next Step for this Annual Wellness Visit" at the bottom of the page.

Once one of these items is clicked, scroll down to the bottom of the page to see the "Office Tests" section.

Required Office Tests:

Now, take a look at the "office tests" section provided by ThoroughCare. During an annual wellness exam, a clinical reviewer is required to enter the patients height, weight, and blood pressure (systolic and diastolic).

Note: ThoroughCare will not allow a clinical reviewer to finalize a patient's AWV where these fields are left empty, so make sure to document the required readings before moving forward.

Optional Office Tests:

Notice the second half of the "Office Tests" section. A clinical reviewer has the ability to complete/document some optional tests such as vision, A1C (%), Timed Up and Go, and a whisper test.

Note: The "Additional Tests" do not need to be completed to finalize a patient's AWV, but it may be helpful to document these tests to track patient progression/decline over time.

If a clinical reviewer is unfamiliar with the "Timed Up and Go" and "Whisper" tests, click the small blue "Question mark" button to the right of the test's name to view an explanation of how to complete that particular test with a patient.

Completing the Office Tests:

When finished, click the green "Completed" button located in the bottom right hand corner of the "Office Tests" section.

Notice that once the "Office Tests" section is marked as completed, the empty bubble above the "Office Tests" checklist will now be populated with a green checkmark. If a user wishes to edit the "Office Tests" section simply click the green checkmark. Now that this section is completed the user can navigate to the next part of the AWV labeled "Review Patient Reported History". Click here to jump to the "Patient Reported History" walkthrough article.

Note: Make sure to re-complete the "Office Tests" section when any changes are made, otherwise any updated test data may be lost.

For more information on the AWV office tests, not discussed in this article, chat with a ThoroughCare professional by clicking the blue chat bubble in the bottom right hand corner of every ThoroughCare screen!
