Uploading patient claims from ThoroughCare to DrChrono

Once patient claims are created in ThoroughCare, they can be submitted to DrChrono in a few easy steps. Here are some best practices to successfully submit patient claims from ThroroughCare to DrChrono.

Individual Claim Submission

To submit an individual claim to DrChrono, navigate to Billings and Claims from your ThoroughCare dashboard.

From Billings and Claims, select the claim to be submitted then select the blue Submit icon in the Actions column for the selected claim.

A claim confirmation box will appear in the top, right corner of the dashboard once the claim is successfully uploaded to DrChrono.

To view the claim in DrChrono, navigate to Billing then Patient Statements.

Search for your patient to view their statement in DrChrono.

Bulk Claim Submission

Due to ThoroughCare's seamless integration with DrChrono, submitting bulk claims can be done in a few simple steps.

From your ThoroughCare Dashboard, navigate to Billings and Claims.

You may filter your claims list to view specific claims.

You may select specific claims in your list or tap the Select All checkbox at the top of your claims list to select all.

Select Bulk Actions then Submit All.

A claim confirmation box will appear in the top, right corner of the dashboard once the claims are successfully uploaded to DrChrono.

Note: The upload time for bulk claims into DrChrono will vary depending on the number of claims being uploaded.

To view claims in DrChrono, navigate to Billing then Patient Statements.

Search for a patient to view their statement in DrChrono.
