Healthwise Patient Portal Integration
If a patient has patient portal access in ThoroughCare, they are able to navigate to Healthwise content within their patient portal environment.
While the patient is in the portal they can access the Healthwise content multiple ways:
1. The Health Tips question mark in the banner area of the patient portal
2. The Health Tips button in the tiles on the right side of the screen of the portal
Once the patient has selected either one of those navigation buttons; they will be navigated to the Health Tips (Healthwise) content page. In this particular area they will have access to several different areas of health content; Interactive Content, Wellness and Prevention, Life Stage, Conditions, and Other.
The content available includes; videos, written content, interactive assessments, etc. to further engage the patient in learning about their specific topic.
Video Content:
Written Content:
Interactive Assessment:
The patient is also able to search for content by using the search bar at the top of the screen.
This will open the patient to any content that has "Diabetes" related content.
Healthwise Mobile Application Integration
On the patients' mobile device; the patient is able to access Healthwise health content in a similar fashion to how they would access it in the web application portal.
After the patient logs into the mobile application, at the bottom of the selection bar they will notice the ? Tips button to select.
The patient would have access to all the content in their mobile application that is available through the portal as well.
While the patient is navigating through the content that is available; they will come across some content that is interactive where they will be prompted to click on an image to direct them to continuing an assessment or some type of symptom checker (see below).
NOTE: It may sometimes need a second press on the interactive tool in order to make the selection.
NOTE: The red arrows below will guide where the interactive tool is navigating to next based on the screenshot section that was selected.
NOTE: After navigating through the selected "Adult," then selecting the head, next selecting the forehead as the "Where's the problem?" the mobile application navigates the patient to the information found below.
