Practice Setup & Setting Overview

The functionality related to hiding the Billing and Claims dashboard is controlled by a practice setting. Once the setting has been enabled, any Care Manager or Read-Only user will no longer be able to access the Billing and Claims dashboard from their side panel or from any patient’s Billing tab.

In order to limit user access to the Billing and Claims Dashboard, please reach out to ThoroughCare for assistance.

Affected User Roles

Any user who is defined as only a Care Manager and/or a Read-Only user within their user profile will no longer have access to the Billing and Claims Dashboard, once this setting is turned on for a practice.

If any user, whether defined as a Care Manager / Read-Only or not, is associated with one or more of the following roles:

  • Customer Admin

  • Practice Admin

  • Billing Admin

  • Provider

  • Notification Backup

  • Non Clinical

they will still be able to access the dashboard as normal.

Permission Set Exceptions

In the event that a Care Manager (or another user in your practice who is affected by this setting) is still in need of access to the Billing and Claims dashboard, they can be associated with a Permission Set that includes one or more of the following permission settings related to the user’s needs:

  • Update Claims Service Date (Admin Access)

  • Claims Submission (User Access)

  • Edit Claims (User Access)
