ThoroughCare / Application Release Notes - March 10, 2026
Features of the Month
ThoroughCare is thrilled to introduce TC Compass, an intelligent partner designed to provide care teams with a holistic view of their patients, featuring the "Smart Summary" as this month’s highlight. This feature synthesizes fragmented data, such as patient encounters, diagnosed conditions, and social determinants of health, into a single, comprehensive view directly within the patient’s chart. By consolidating critical information, TC Compass helps care managers spend less time searching through systems and more time driving meaningful patient engagement. Ultimately, it ensures operational consistency across care models by providing teams with the immediate context needed to prioritize action and maintain continuity.
Withings Integration
ThoroughCare is proud to announce our new integration with Withings cellular weight scale, enabling automatic capture of patient weight readings directly within the platform. This integration allows care teams to seamlessly monitor weight trends without manual data entry, supporting more proactive management of patients with chronic conditions. By bringing connected device data into the care workflow, teams gain timely insights that help drive more informed, patient-centered care.
New Features
This feature will add a new tab to the 'Automations' Management screen and add an automation option for each Care Management program a practice is enabled for. When a program's 'Program Eligibility' automation is enabled, TC can automatically mark patients as 'Eligible' based on number of relevant conditions and minimum patient age.
The Patient Worklist now supports bulk text messaging, enabling care teams to quickly reach the right patients at the right time. After filtering for a specific patient population, users can send messages to multiple patients at once, making outreach for reminders, updates, and care coordination faster and more efficient. Built-in safeguards help prevent accidental over-messaging, ensuring communication remains thoughtful and patient-friendly. This feature helps teams scale patient engagement while maintaining trust and compliance.
Administrative users can now configure patient flags to automatically drop off after a defined period of time. Managed directly within the Patient Flags Management screen, this feature helps ensure patient flags remain timely and relevant without requiring manual updates. By automatically clearing outdated flags, care teams can maintain cleaner worklists and focus on patients who require the most immediate attention.
Patient Resource & Task Webhooks
ThoroughCare now offers a Patient Resource webhook, allowing API subscribers to receive real-time notifications whenever a patient record is updated. This enhancement enables external systems to stay synchronized with the latest patient information without relying on frequent polling. By delivering timely updates, teams can build more responsive integrations and ensure patient data remains consistent across platforms.
The new Task Resource webhook provides real-time notifications whenever a patient time log or user to-do is updated. API subscribers can leverage these events to keep external systems aligned with care team activity as it happens. This capability supports more dynamic workflows, enabling organizations to automate processes and maintain accurate task tracking across integrated tools.
‘Probability of Change’ Enabled Measurements*
ThoroughCare now supports Probability of Change (POC) enabled measurements for Pulse and Respiratory Rate, creating a structured place to document readings that estimate the likelihood a patient’s vital signs may meaningfully deviate from their baseline. The new measurement types are also available through the API with GET, POST, and PATCH endpoints, enabling organizations to incorporate this data into external workflows and analytics.
System Enhancements
Care Team Assignment Workflow Update
ThoroughCare has enhanced its Care Team assignment workflow and now allows users to assign program-specific care team members to patients at any time. Care Managers and Providers can now be designated before a patient is actively enrolled, giving teams greater flexibility in preparing and coordinating care. Assignments can be made directly within the patient chart, worklists, and patient imports, making it easier to manage care teams efficiently across patient populations.
Billing & Claims Worklist Analytics Sheet Update
A new ‘Last Submission Error’ field has been added to the Billing & Claims Worklist > Concatenated CPT Codes Sheet in Analytics. In the event that a claim fails to submit to a practice’s integrated EHR, this field will display the reason in order to help users quickly identify issues and take corrective action without additional investigation.
Tenovi BPM Cuff Size Options*
ThoroughCare now offers an XL size option when ordering connected blood pressure cuffs from Tenovi directly within the platform. This addition expands device sizing options, helping practices better accommodate patients who require larger cuffs for accurate readings. By supporting a wider range of patient needs, teams can ensure more reliable blood pressure monitoring while maintaining a seamless device ordering workflow.
GMI Data Available in Analytics
The new GMI-enabled measurement data (introduced in our February 2026 release) is now available in Analytics. Now, GMI data aligns seamlessly with your other enabled measurements, providing a unified view of patient metrics. This integration enhances your ability to track trends, identify care opportunities, and make data-driven decision, all within the same familiar analytics experience.
Appointment Endpoint API Update
The Appointment Endpoint update brings ThoroughCare’s redesigned Calendar functionality, the former Call Scheduler, directly to the API. Developers can now accurately track patient appointments and outreach, reflecting your organization’s configured interaction types, call purposes, and outcomes. This update ensures seamless alignment between the API and the enhanced Calendar, empowering developer users to create, update, and monitor patient interactions with greater precision and flexibility.
PAA Analytics Sheet Update
This enhancement brings the PAA Details sheet in line with the CMS template, ensuring consistent formatting and easier reporting. These small but impactful adjustments make it simpler to review and analyze patient analytics, streamlining workflows and enhancing clarity for your care management team.
