Perform a Bulk Provider Sign-off
Users who have the ‘Provider’ user role associated with their profiles may now perform a bulk action to sign-off on patients selected in time-logging program worklists.
Note: Users do not need to be a patient’s program-specific provider in order to perform bulk provider sign-off for the patients selected. However, users must have access to the program they are trying to perform bulk provider sign-off for.
To perform a bulk provider sign-off, navigate to a worklist for a time-logging program and use the checkbox column to select 1 or more patients.
Once the desired patients have been selected, the ‘Bulk Actions’ button will be enabled. Click the button to view a list of possible bulk actions a user can perform.
From the list, select the option for ‘Provider Sign-off.’
A modal will then be displayed which will show the number of patients selected in the header, the user who is performing the sign-off, and the date for sign-off.
After pressing the ‘Sign Off’ button, a confirmation modal will be displayed and ask users to confirm their choice by pressing ‘OK.’
The modal will then display the number of patients that had a successful provider sign-off applied to their Care Plans.
If a provider sign-off could not be applied to a patient’s Care Plan, the modal will also display the patient’s name along with the reason why a provider sign-off could not be completed.
Successful Provider Bulk Sign-off
A successful bulk provider sign-off will look like the image below with the name of provider, the type of sign-off, and the date.
Unsuccessful Provider Bulk Sign-off
An unsuccessful bulk provider sign off will show the reason why the sign-off could not be completed in the ‘Provider Sign Off’ field.
