Overview

Alongside manual selection, ThoroughCare offers Admin users the option to create customized report templates for their users to make generating reports a more streamlined process. They can also set restrictions around those templates to further limit users to only generate reports that follow the practice's specific needs.

Configuring a Care Plan Template

To build a Care Plan template:

  1. Go to left side panel and click 'Management' - 'CP Report Templates'

  2. Click the '+Add New Care Plan Template' button to open the 'Care Plan Report Template' modal

  3. Enter a descriptive 'Template Name'

  4. Mark the 'Report Disclaimer' checkbox and enter a custom disclaimer to populate at the bottom of the Care Plan Summary Report (if applicable)

  5. Set the desired order of the Care Plan Sections by using the arrow functions or clicking and dragging the rows

  6. Determine which sections should be included in the report by clicking the 'Enable' / 'Disable' buttons

  7. Click 'Create' to save the template

Practice templates will be automatically available in both report-related modals.

Setting Care Plan Report Access

Administrative users can manage Care Plan Summary reports even further by adding a setting to their custom templates. From the same 'Management' - 'CP Report Templates' screen, a user can click the 'Template Type' button to populate the 'Care Plan Report Access' modal and select the level of template access they would like their users to have.

Configuration Access Types

Full Configuration

  • This setting allows users to bypass selecting a template entirely and to proceed with manual selections.

  • This setting also allows users to select an available template and manually edit it by selecting and de-selecting options as needed.

  • This setting will be selected by default.

Templates with Configuration

  • This setting requires that users always select a template when generating Care Plan Summary Reports.

  • This setting does NOT allow users to de-select options marked by the template.

  • This setting DOES allow users to manually select additional options that were not marked by the template.

    Templates Only

  • This setting requires that users always select a template when generating Care Plan Summary Reports.

  • This setting does not allow for any manual changes except for the individual program options and the 'Non-Patient Facing Notes' option.

Note: If either 'Templates with Configuration' or 'Templates Only' is selected prior to any templates being created, the modals will automatically mark all report options by default.
