ThoroughCare / Application Release Notes - August 12, 2025

Feature of the Month

Tenovi Pillbox

ThoroughCare now integrates with the Tenovi Pillbox, enabling real-time tracking of patient medication adherence. These devices record when a patient opens and refills their pillbox, providing valuable insight into medication adherence and compliance.

Benefits

Improved Care Management

Gain a clearer picture of patient medication routines in conjunction with patient’s recorded medications, allowing care teams to identify potential issues early and offer timely support.

Better Patient Outcomes

By tracking adherence more closely, care managers can address gaps in medication compliance, helping patients stay on track with their treatment plans.

Ready for the Future

This integration is designed to work seamlessly with ThoroughCare’s upcoming Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) program, creating even more opportunities to improve care delivery and engagement.

Limitations: No CPT codes will be generated for readings for this device at this time. If you would like to enable the Pillbox for your practice, please contact your account representative!

New Features

  • Aprima EHR Integration*

    • ThoroughCare now integrates with CGM’s Aprima EHR!

    • This integration allows users to import patients, including their demographics, primary insurance, conditions, and medications.

    • Users can also export care plans from ThoroughCare to Aprima, either individually or in bulk, which can greatly improve end-of-month process efficiency.

System Enhancements

    • Allows filtering by multiple items in a single filter on the device readings queue.

    • Patients can now be enrolled into the RTM program once enabled for your practice

    • Time based claims are able to be generated

      • 98980 - First 20 minutes

      • 98981 - Each additional 20 minutes

    • RTM Device Reading claims will be included in our September release

    • New columns added to the AWV worklist

      • ‘Last Successful Call’, ‘Call Attempts’, ‘Follow Up’

      • These columns reflect calls specific to the AWV program

    • Users can now move claims to a new ‘Void’ status. This status is intended for claims that have been created but are not intended to be billed.

    • The APCM workflow has been enhanced to take advantage of this new status. For CCM or APCM claims, the workflow will now keep the claim with the higher average reimbursement and automatically move the other claim to ‘Void’ instead of skipping claim creation.

* Enhancement was created based on a user idea

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue causing a delay for readings entering ThoroughCare.

  • Fixed problem notes on the clinical review tab to correctly show in chronological order.

  • Fixed an issue on the worklist where billable time was unable to be logged if filtering by ‘actively enrolled’ patients.

  • Fixed an issue allowing additional active enrollments in a program when the patient was already active.

  • Fixed an issue where the option to select providers from a predefined list was not allowing the assessment to be finalized as complete.

  • Fixed an issue making users unable to access a patient's chart if a TCM was started without a discharge date.

  • Fixed an issue in AWVs where a patient reported medication would incorrectly highlight red after adding a stopped date.
